Information Assurance Operations (IA Ops) and Control Centers

VITAL provides critical support throughout the certification and accreditation (C&A) process, develops and reviews certification artifacts required by NIST 800 Series, DIACAP and DCID 6/3. VITAL utilizes its expertise in all-source technical analysis and research ITIL methodologies, cyber analytics and operations, and system and cyber vulnerability and exploitation assessments to design and build systems for the IA.

Medical Simulation

VITAL is developing best-practices in medical simulations in order to provide and administer an enterprise-wide solution to train medical personnel at Military Treatment Facilities (MTF). Working with the Defense Health Agency at their flagship MTF, Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, VITAL is recruiting and training Standardized Patients, and developing curriculum to provide the most realistic and accurate training scenarios available to military medical personnel.

Using the latest security screening technology, to include x-rays, radiation detection, and chemical and biological sensors, VITAL personnel can provide the full spectrum of package and mail screening services, and postal administration and distribution, ensuring the safety and security of the customers’ people and facilities, consistently meeting processing and delivery requirements on schedule.

Language and Intelligence Analysis

VITAL’s support includes multi-lingual cryptologic instructors and analysts that provide interpretation, translation, transcription, and exploitation in support of DoD missions and Multi-lingual analysts provide interpretation, translation, and transcription.

Continuity of Operations

VITAL’s Business Continuity Planning professionals provide COOP life cycle management in compliance with Presidential directives that include gap analysis, corrective action planning, testing, infrastructure assessments, reconstitution planning, disaster recovery, and Living Disaster Recovery Planning System (LDRPS) management.
